Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
Listen to the six tracks that I have recorded in my home studio! The quality is
not the best, but it worth to be listened to! Let me enumerate these songs!
- First of all we have "Should I stay or should I go" The Clash, sung by me;
- then "Not that kind" Anastacia, my version of this song;
- third "I will survive" Gloria Gaynor, of course in my interpretation;
- then "Family portrait" Pink, how I feel it;
- fifth "Goodnight moon" Shivaree, you will see how I do it!;
- and the last - my favorite! - "Flowers of Carnage" Meiko Kaji. You will see me like you have neVer seen me before! :) Especially for this song I became a Japanese !!!
Thank you for your attention!
I work a lot on development and improvement of my vocal qualities. First of all, I sing all the time. Second, every day I record songs of different styles and audition myself. I think that the very fact of recording improves concentration and motivates to perform better compared to singing "for yourself". Third, I sing the vocal exercises to enhance the capabilities of my voice. Here are some of these exercises:
1) - My favourite excercise: I've made a vocalization out of this classic piece of music that I like very much.
2) - I have found some nice exercises on the web (here and here). I think the teacher is a real pro.
3) - I like this small but good vocalization of Rossini.
4) - And at last, sometimes I train myself on the score of Panovka for soprano and mezzo-soprano. Some of this vocalizations are quite difficult since you must learn them by heart before you can sing them: they are very chaotic in their rises and falls.
So this is how I work to achieve better performance of my voice.
Here are some of my favorites songs.
Big City Life - Mataffix: Not that kind - Anastacia: Sous l'oeil de l'ange - K Maro: May it be - Enya: What a Wondenful World - Louis Armstrong: A song for you - Ray Charles: Don't play that song for me - Aretha Franklin: I will survive - Gloria Gaynor: You (You were always on my mind) - Ted Sharp: L'indecision - Da Silva: Lakme - Maria Callas: Ave Maria (Schubert) - Luciano Pavarotti: Hier encore - Charles Aznavour: Parole Parole 1972 - Mina&Celentano: Old Man River - Paul Robeson: Relaxation - Enya.
